Andrew MacLeod comes to Avison Young with a 16-year professional career that focused on appraisal & consulting within the commercial real estate industry. He has extensive expertise with multi-family, office, retail, and industrial asset classes throughout Alberta. Andrew’s most recent position as Senior Vice President, for a Global Valuation & Advisory firm saw him oversee Canadian operations for a team of close to 100 appraisal & consulting professionals. During this time, he helped guide and support his staff through 17% annual growth over four years and managed the implementation of a new technology platform across Canada. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Management Degree in Management Information Systems and obtained his AACI appraisal designation in 2008. His current role will be focused on building a robust appraisal team based out of Edmonton to service Northern Alberta & the surrounding areas. Andrew believes that relationships are key to success within business as well as with family and friends. He enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams, staying active, and spending time with neighbours in his local community. Andrew  has been actively involved in the Edmonton community and has held volunteer positions with both Santa’s Anonymous & Big Brothers of Edmonton.
